This is my last weekend here in New York City. It’s presently Saturday, and I’m currently attempting to multi-task, and get access to my workplace. Which is at WeWork based out of New York city about a block far from Times Square. So, I think in today’s episode, what we’re going to do, is gon na have a little take a seat, right there. But I believe before I do go and take a seat there, considered that it is a Saturday and there is no one else here. Nobody else here at all. Ahhh, I believe it’s probably good for us to do a little tour of this coworking area, and offer you a bit of an insight as to why I like coworking areas, so much. So let’s start over here, at the snacks area. Right, so you’ve got a self-serve snack location over here. You got yer Cokes. You got yer Red Bulls. All self-serve which is truly, actually cool. Alrighty, and over here we have filtered water which is fun. Throughout the week they generally have a flavoured water thing set over here which is cool. All this is unrestricted so we can have complimentary espresso, which is what you want, that’s what you’re into. Otherwise they have actually got drip coffee over here. All the facilities right, all the facilities. And after that we have actually got the lunch location here. Take care of the environment, make certain you recycle. You’ve got all the coworking areas over here, which is actually cool. This pumps during the week. We’ve also got mad, amazing views out here. Not a bad view, not the best day, but not a bad view still. And then we have actually got these little booths, which are also fun to operate in. And this is essentially, yeah the coworking location. We have actually got high speed WiFi internet everywhere, we have actually also got the security cameras up everywhere in here which is likewise truly enjoyable, due to the fact that if you’ve got a great deal of costly devices like I do, and you have actually likewise got, like,

I’m loading a lot into this backpack. Like a lot into this backpack. So if you have actually got a lot of pricey equipment, and you are operating in a coworking space, it is nice to understand that we’ve got all of this security around. I do what to go out, and go for a wander, or go on an experience during the day, I’m able to leave all of my stuff here, save and sound without any tension or stress about it going missing out on. You understand what I imply? So this is Flooring 12. Let’s reveal us the rest of this office space. And this is the same workplace that I worked out of in 2017 when I lived here for the summer. Precisely the exact same office space. An unbelievable group of people, everybody that I have actually fulfilled through the WeWork community’s been definitely amazing, and all the staff here are extraordinary. So, let’s continue. All in here are the private offices. So you can either get a personal workplace, or you can just do the hot-desk, coworking desk like I’ve done. Once again, simply all private offices through here. Nothing actually too much to see. Got the printer location, and stationary location down here. One thing that I do like, and like I really, actually enjoy this, and it’s likewise a feature that Flux, the coworking area that I work out of in Perth, on St Georges Terrace, also has, they’ve got their own version of this. And these are personal little telephone booths slash with deep work booths. You generally you can get in here, close the door. You’ve got a little light, and you have actually got USB charger. I’ve done lots of, many before WiFi call here in this cubicle or in one of these cubicles. Also being here it’s just an excellent method to, if you wan na deal with something that’s truly private, or if you wan na to have a private conversation, or if you wan na just work in a deep workspace without any diversions, these are the places to work. Proceeding. More personal offices. And then the other cool thing is, you have actually got these conference room Wework San Mateo

which are up in here, and also up there. And this continues, it’s basically the same type of design on this floor as it is upstairs. And you can hire these private meeting spaces out as part of the credit you get when you register for the office. Now in regards to cost, I believe I paid, and fix me if I’m wrong but I think, from memory, I paid about 550 U.S. dollars for a months worth of coworking area here, which includes, use of the printer, use of the web, use of security, 24 7 access to the coworking space. And appearance, in regards to worth for money- I’m gon na set this down ’cause my arm injures, it’s a heavy cam. Sorry, in regards to worth for money it’s simply, for me, being able to simply roll into a city, pick up where I left off, pay-as-you-go, and it’s the same thing with Flux back in Perth. In terms of coworking, for me the ability to be able to roll into a city, pick up where you left off, or even roll into a brand-new city, get set-up with a coworking space, which is safe and secure, which has really fast internet, which has all the facilities that you require, and so far more, with a lot of remarkable people and a remarkable neighborhood. It’s simply, absolutely like it. For a digital wanderer, for digital entrepreneurs, and also for business owners that remain in that solo phase. Who’re simply in terms of that start-up stage, and they don’t wan na work from house any longer. Because look, I’ve worked from house prior to and you can get a bit lonesome, and you can get a little cabin fever. Coworking spaces are a really, truly, versatile method for you to be able to meet brand-new individuals, network. Work in an area which is gotten rid of from your house, without spending excessive money. And likewise without requiring to fret about that fixed dedication. And ABC in Perth really interviewed me about this a week or 2 earlier, and I’ll leave a link to that article possibly’ll, whoop. ABC in fact interviewed me about why I love coworking spaces a lot a few weeks back. If you’re interested go and examine that out. And before we end the chat, I believe what I’m gon na leave you with is one of my favourite, favourite, features about this location. Which is, erm, it’s over here, let’s go. Let’s go. We’ll begin, we’ll begin here. Get one of these. One of these ones. Ooooh, they’re tapped. They’re tapped. Normally during the week, there is limitless free beer on tap here. But today, looks like it’s a no-winner (wawhow music) like I said earlier. Today’s a bit sad, due to the fact that it is my final Saturday, my last weekend here in New york city City. And I do fly house to Perth on Tuesday. 33 hour commute, looking forward to that. (bell rings) However it is bitter-sweet, like I am really fired up go home, back to Perth. I’m really excited to overtake my friends, my family, and get back into the grind, and start making moves, and just getting the little things done. I’m also truly sad that I’m leaving one of my favourite locations in the world, and leaving some of my favourite people in the world. Yeah. Bitter-sweet is the best way I would describe how I feel today. Extremely bitter-sweet. Look that there concludes this episode of the blog site. I’m gon na proceed and hint the explosion, but before we do that, if you are not currently subscribed, go on and strike the Subscribe button. I drop in videos every Thursday, 6 a.m Pacific, 9 a.m Eastern, 9 p.m Australian Western Standard Time Zone. And like I did state earlier, I am flying back to Perth on Tuesday. So it’s most likely going to be a one-week hiatus in regards to the uploads, since you’ve always got to travel, and likewise get over jet-lag. Because we all understand what occurs when Paul gets jet-lag. Um-um, um-um, um-um. Anyway, thank you a lot for watching, I really do appreciate it and, yeah, I’ll see you next Thursday.
