This is my last weekend here in New York City. It’s currently Saturday, and I’m currently trying to multi-task, and get access to my office. Which is at WeWork based out of New York city about a block far from Times Square. I believe in today’s episode, what we’re going to do, is gon na have a little sit down, right there. But I think before I do go and sit down there, considered that it is a Saturday and there is no one else here. Nobody else here at all. Ahhh, I believe it’s probably good for us to do a little tour of this coworking space, and provide you a bit of an insight regarding why I enjoy coworking spaces, so much. So let’s start over here, at the treats location. So you’ve got a self-serve treat location over here. You got yer Cokes. You got yer Red Bulls. All self-serve which is truly, really cool. Alrighty, and over here we have filtered water which is fun. Throughout the week they typically have a flavoured water thing set over here which is cool. All this is limitless so we can have complimentary espresso, which is what you want, that’s what you’re into. Otherwise they have actually got drip coffee over here. All the features right, all the facilities. And after that we have actually got the lunch location here. Take care of the environment, make certain you recycle. You’ve got all the coworking areas over here, which is truly cool. So this pumps during the week. We’ve likewise got mad, extraordinary views out here. Not a bad view, not the very best day, however not a bad view still. And after that we have actually got these little cubicles, which are likewise enjoyable to operate in. And this is basically, yeah the coworking area. We have actually got high speed WiFi internet everywhere, we’ve likewise got the security video cameras up everywhere in here which is likewise truly enjoyable, due to the fact that if you’ve got a great deal of expensive equipment like I do, and you’ve also got, like,
If you have actually got a lot of costly equipment, and you are working in a coworking area, it is good to understand that we have actually got all of this security around. One thing that I do like, and like I actually, actually enjoy this, and it’s also a feature that Flux, the coworking area that I work out of in Perth, on St Georges Terrace, likewise has, they have actually got their own variation of this. You have actually got a little light, and you have actually got USB battery charger. Wework Acquisitions 2014
which are up in here, and likewise up there. And this continues, it’s generally the same kind of layout on this flooring as it is upstairs. And you can work with these private meeting rooms out as part of the credit you get when you sign up for the office space. Now in terms of expense, I believe I paid, and correct me if I’m wrong but I think, from memory, I paid about 550 U.S. dollars for a months worth of coworking area here, that includes, use of the printer, use of the internet, use of security, 24 seven access to the coworking area. And appearance, in terms of value for cash- I’m gon na set this down ’cause my arm hurts, it’s a heavy electronic camera. Sorry, in terms of worth for cash it’s simply, for me, being able to simply roll into a city, get where I left off, pay-as-you-go, and it’s the same thing with Flux back in Perth. In regards to coworking, for me the capability to be able to roll into a city, get where you ended, or even roll into a brand-new city, get set-up with a coworking space, which is safe and secure, which has truly quick web, which has all the features that you require, therefore far more, with a lot of amazing people and a remarkable neighborhood. It’s just, definitely enjoy it. For a digital wanderer, for digital business owners, and also for business owners that are in that solo stage. Who’re just in regards to that start-up stage, and they do not wan na work from house any longer. Because appearance, I’ve worked from home before and you can get a bit lonesome, and you can get a bit of cabin fever. Coworking areas are a truly, truly, versatile method for you to be able to fulfill new people, network. Work in a space which is eliminated from your house, without spending excessive cash. And also without requiring to stress over that repaired dedication. And ABC in Perth in fact interviewed me about this a week or 2 earlier, and I’ll leave a link to that post perhaps’ll, whoop. ABC in fact interviewed me about why I enjoy coworking areas so much a couple of weeks earlier. If you’re interested go and examine that out. And prior to we end the chat, I believe what I’m gon na leave you with is one of my favourite, preferred, includes about this place. Which is, erm, it’s over here, let’s go. Let’s go. We’ll begin, we’ll start here. Get among these. Among these ones. Ooooh, they’re tapped. They’re tapped. Typically throughout the week, there is limitless free beer on tap here. But today, looks like it’s a no-winner (wawhow music) like I said previously. Today’s a bit sad, since it is my final Saturday, my final weekend here in New York City. And I do fly house to Perth on Tuesday. 33 hour commute, looking forward to that. (bell rings) But it is bitter-sweet, like I am truly ecstatic go home, back to Perth. I’m truly delighted to catch up with my friends, my family, and return into the grind, and begin making relocations, and just getting the little things done. I’m also really sad that I’m leaving one of my preferred locations in the world, and leaving some of my favourite people in the world. Yeah. Bitter-sweet is the best method I would explain how I feel today. Very bitter-sweet. Look that there concludes this episode of the blog. I’m gon na proceed and cue the explosion, but prior to we do that, if you are not currently subscribed, go ahead and hit the Subscribe button. I drop in videos every Thursday, 6 a.m Pacific, 9 a.m Eastern, 9 p.m Australian Western Standard Time Zone. And like I did state previously, I am flying back to Perth on Tuesday. So it’s most likely going to be a one-week hiatus in regards to the uploads, because you’ve always got to travel, and also overcome jet-lag. When Paul gets jet-lag, because we all understand what occurs. Um-um, um-um, um-um. Anyway, thank you so much for enjoying, I truly do appreciate it and, yeah, I’ll see you next Thursday.
