This is my last weekend here in New york city City. It’s currently Saturday, and I’m presently trying to multi-task, and get access to my office. Which is at WeWork based out of New York city about a block away from Times Square. I believe in today’s episode, what we’re going to do, is gon na have a little sit down, right there. But I think before I do go and sit down there, considered that it is a Saturday and there is nobody else here. Nobody else here at all. Ahhh, I think it’s probably good for us to do a little tour of this coworking space, and provide you a bit of an insight as to why I love coworking areas, so much. So let’s start over here, at the treats area. So you have actually got a self-serve treat location over here. You got yer Cokes. You got yer Red Bulls. All self-serve which is actually, really cool. Alrighty, and over here we have actually filtered water which is enjoyable. Throughout the week they generally have a flavoured water thing set over here which is cool. All this is limitless so we can have free espresso, which is what you desire, that’s what you enjoy. Otherwise they have actually got drip coffee over here. All the facilities right, all the amenities. And then we have actually got the lunch location here. Look after the environment, make certain you recycle. You have actually got all the coworking spaces over here, which is actually cool. This pumps throughout the week. We’ve likewise got mad, incredible views out here. Not a bad view, not the best day, but not a bad view still. And then we’ve got these little cubicles, which are also fun to work in. And this is essentially, yeah the coworking area. We’ve got high speed WiFi internet all over, we have actually likewise got the security video cameras up everywhere in here which is also really fun, since if you have actually got a lot of expensive devices like I do, and you have actually likewise got, like,
If you’ve got a lot of expensive devices, and you are working in a coworking space, it is nice to know that we’ve got all of this security around. One thing that I do like, and like I really, actually enjoy this, and it’s also a feature that Flux, the coworking space that I work out of in Perth, on St Georges Terrace, also has, they’ve got their own version of this. You’ve got a little light, and you’ve got USB battery charger. Are Wework 24/7
which are up in here, and likewise up there. And this continues, it’s basically the same sort of design on this flooring as it is upstairs. And you can employ these private meeting spaces out as part of the credit you get when you register for the workplace. Now in terms of cost, I believe I paid, and fix me if I’m wrong however I think, from memory, I paid about 550 U.S. dollars for a months worth of coworking area here, that includes, use of the printer, use of the web, use of security, 24 7 access to the coworking space. And appearance, in regards to value for money- I’m gon na set this down ’cause my arm injures, it’s a heavy electronic camera. Sorry, in terms of worth for money it’s simply, for me, having the ability to simply roll into a city, pick up where I ended, pay-as-you-go, and it’s the same thing with Flux back in Perth. In terms of coworking, for me the capability to be able to roll into a city, pick up where you left off, or even roll into a new city, get set-up with a coworking space, which is safe and secure, which has really fast internet, which has all the features that you require, and so much more, with a bunch of fantastic people and an amazing neighborhood. It’s simply, absolutely love it. For a digital nomad, for digital business owners, and also for entrepreneurs that are in that solo phase. Who’re just in terms of that start-up stage, and they don’t wan na work from home any longer. Since appearance, I’ve worked from home before and you can get a bit lonely, and you can get a little bit of cabin fever. Coworking spaces are an actually, truly, versatile way for you to be able to satisfy new people, network. Operate in a space which is eliminated from your home, without spending excessive money. And likewise without needing to fret about that fixed commitment. And ABC in Perth really interviewed me about this a week or two earlier, and I’ll leave a link to that short article possibly’ll, whoop. ABC actually interviewed me about why I like coworking spaces a lot a couple of weeks ago. If you’re interested go and check that out. And prior to we end the chat, I believe what I’m gon na leave you with is among my preferred, preferred, includes about this location. Which is, erm, it’s over here, let’s go. Let’s go. We’ll begin, we’ll begin here. Get one of these. Among these ones. Ooooh, they’re tapped. They’re tapped. Generally during the week, there is unlimited free beer on tap here. But today, appears like it’s a no-winner (wawhow music) like I stated previously. Today’s a bit unfortunate, since it is my final Saturday, my last weekend here in New York City. And I do fly home to Perth on Tuesday. 33 hour commute, anticipating that. (bell rings) However it is bitter-sweet, like I am really thrilled go home, back to Perth. I’m really excited to catch up with my friends, my household, and get back into the grind, and begin making relocations, and just getting the little things done. I’m also really sad that I’m leaving one of my favourite locations in the world, and leaving some of my favourite people in the world. Yeah. Bitter-sweet is the very best method I would describe how I feel right now. Extremely bitter-sweet. Look that there concludes this episode of the blog. I’m gon na proceed and cue the explosion, but before we do that, if you are not already subscribed, proceed and hit the Subscribe button. I drop in videos each and every single Thursday, 6 a.m Pacific, 9 a.m Eastern, 9 p.m Australian Western Standard Time Zone. And like I did state earlier, I am flying back to Perth on Tuesday. It’s most likely going to be a one-week hiatus in terms of the uploads, since you’ve always got to travel, and also get over jet-lag. When Paul gets jet-lag, because we all know what happens. Um-um, um-um, um-um. Anyhow, thank you so much for watching, I really do value it and, yeah, I’ll see you next Thursday.
